Pop singer Conan Gray, adored by melancholy teenagers worldwide, released his third studio album, “Found Heaven” on April 5. The record is full of synths and electronic percussion, imitating the charting hits of the 80’s. This is his most upbeat collection of songs to date, being known for his sad, heart-wrenching ballads that break people’s hearts because they’re just so relatable—like his 2020 hit, “Heather.” It’s an outstanding glow-up from his 2018 freshmen EP, “Sunset Season,” that helped kick-start his career out of YouTube-only releases.
Starting in May of last year he started releasing singles to tease his upcoming project—“Never Ending Song,” “Winner,” “Killing Me,” “Lonely Dancers” and “Alley Rose.” However, track eight, “Bourgeoisieses,” is the ultimately catchy hit, perfect for the springtime.
