Jazmine Benson, a junior at Huntington Beach High School, loves writing songs and poetry in her spare time apart from MUN, Water Polo, Link Crew, Track and Field, and leading HBHS Debate Club. She loves discussing topics such as love, pain, politics in her pieces as she enjoys relating them to her own everyday experiences. Poetry has become a meaningful part of her life as her mother has also written and published poems over the years.
